Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Faith,

May God bless you, strengthen you and give you joy. God is blessing the ministry here in Colombia.

This week we showed “Fireproof”, a film that shows how the gospel can save marriages. Next week we begin a 40 day “Dare To Love” challenge. Our small groups will teach about how to love better. The sermons for the next 6 week will emphasize relationships and marriage, and every day families will read a devotional thought.

We have been praying for this 40 day campaign. It is here and we are seeing results. Around 12 new people came the Sunday we showed the film, and they are all wanting to come back. I want to thank all of you who gave so that those who were not able to buy a “Dare To Love” book could have one.

In the past few months I have been busy evangelizing and God is giving the increase. I baptized four last Sunday, and more are close. Baptisms are precious. I still feel the joy and the awesomeness of the moment that I felt in Mexico when I first baptized during a missions trip from Ozark Christian College .

Pray that during these 40 days families will be transformed by the power of Christ’s blood and word.

Pray for my family as we serve our KING.

Pray for safety. There have been a lot of gang fights and many have been killed. Our youth minister, Fredy Prieto, was holding home Bible studies in two homes in the same sector of Medellin on the same day. He was warned by two different people that he should only go to one each day, because the meeting places are on the turf of different gangs and he would probably be killed on suspicion of spying for one gang.

Pray for the ongoing men’s ministry.

I would like to ask you, to pray for the Bucaramanga church. We would like to buy the property they are meeting in. The cost is $150,000.00. Please ask the Lord how He would want you to participate, and how your small group or church could help.

I am planning on going to the United States in February. God has already provided $50,000.00 through Rocky Mountain Christian Church. Would you like to participate in providing a church building for the brethren in Bucaramanga ? Oh, yes, they are also doing what they can, raising money for this project.

Thank you for giving to Andes Christian Mission. We are working hard to spread the gospel. Just last week I was able to tell Victoria and another lady about the Gospel. They had never heard the true gospel of our Lord and Savior. We are here because you loved those you do not know. We will all celebrate and know each other in Heaven. Thank you!
